All tracks recorded at Terra Inhibita between september 1995 and may 1996, except spirits ov darkness recorded live on 27/05/1996 in the Moritzbastei in Leipzig, Germany. ACS was invited by Xhponozon. Graphics and concept by Nazca and Ah Cama-Sotz.

Fondé en 1993, Ah Cama-Sotz participera activement à une multitude de compilations underground industrielles avant de sortir en 1995 le ep 'Hecate's psy', véritable rareté aujourd'hui. 'F.C.O.H.' est donc le deuxième essai officiel pour ce projet dark ambient unique, inspiré des travaux d'Hybryds, autre projet belge culte auquel Herman Klapholz a par ailleurs participé. Ambiances maléfiques et flippantes ('Epithav', 'Theme from Dzotz'), nappes ronflantes et froides qui font parfois penser à du Raison D'Etre ('Glory ov martyrs') , samples de chant grégoriens ('Bekämpfer der dämonen'), bref tout pour faire frémir vos petits coeurs fragiles à l'approche de ce premier cercle infernal. Une pause ambient/néoclassique avec 'Sakrahl' permet de reprendre son souffle, sans pour autant que l'on se sente apaisé (rappelez-moi le titre ?). L'album se conclu curieusement avec un morceau plus électronique, rythmé et atmosphérique, comme si les esprits résidant dans ce lieu maudit se manifestaient aux sens de l'auditeur à la recherche de sa sanité évanouie. Sans être le meilleur album du belge, 'First circle of Hell' n'en reste pas moins trippant et sombre et se démarque de bon nombres de productions du crû. 'All hope abandon, ye who enter in'

Yog-Sothoth. The thought of something lurking beyond time and space, seeing and knowing everything and all in existence at any given time, is deeply unsettling and yet fascinating. This outermost, outerworldly feeling is being transported in a good way. Part 1 is good, but Part 2 indeed sounds like I would imagine The Lurker at the Threshold to feel, if he felt anything.
